Black and White Bird With Red Chest

The Rose-breasted Grosbeak is a medium-sized songbird. Males are dressed in a sharp black and white suit. Their chest is a striking red. Females wear a more muted brown, streaked with white. Both have a thick, conical bill. It is handy for cracking seeds.
